I had a long day yesterday. I couldn't get enough sleep to finish the video presentation I wanted to give my Korean Language Professor. I also had to start preparing Filipino dishes as early as 9 o'clock in the morning. Plus I have so much unfinished tasks for the semester.
While my arms are aching and my head is spinning, I felt deep sadness. I realized how much I loved Prof Gyeong Min Yu. Though I couldn't talk with her due to very poor Korean communication skills, I felt like I've told her a lot through classwork responses and emails. I just observed her from a distance but I felt like I've hugged her many times: as much as her photos I often secretly took with my small camera.
Maybe this is another case of my teacher-attachment-syndrome.
